In Design
At S & T, the concept of design actually begins in the inquiry phase, where our Sales Department takes note of all custom requirements of a particular job. Our professional engineers and draftsmen then take each job to the next level by offering total support to our customers in the design process utilizing current RCS technology and AutoCAD software. We work hard to achieve effective communication with our clients during the design phase to ensure that industry standards and customer requirements are met. We have the capabilities to customize our products to fit the needs of many different industries.
In Fabrication
Our company can not only manufacture some of the smallest exchangers, but we also have the ability to handle items well over 100 tons. Our shop facility is set up for the most efficient production flow, which maximizes time and effort.
- Materials – In addition to our flexibility in handling jobs of all sizes, we have the expertise and ability to manufacture with many exotic metals, for instance: Titanium, Monel, Admiralty/Brass, Hastelloy, Inconel 625, specialty clad, and Chromes. We also use Carbon Steel, Low Alloy Steel, Duplex, Stainless Alloy, Nickel Alloy, and Super Duplex materials.
- Equipment – Our fabrication shop utilizes some of the industry’s most effective equipment, including our Quickmill machines which are the fastest CNC machines to date. Our facility is also outfitted with the following:

- Workforce – As we’ve stated before, S & T employees have decades of combined heat exchanger experience which allows us to access vast knowledge from all departmental areas of operation and production. In Shipment
Shell & Tube utilizes many forms of shipping services. We are within 20 miles of numerous freight forwarding companies that can handle large shipments. Shipping capacity for truck, water, & railway shipments is up to 300,000 lbs. We can also ship by airway up to 40,000 lbs.
